ACCOMMODATIONS

Accommodations are subject to availability at the time the registration form is received and confirmed by the client.

CORTO LTD commits to informing the client about accommodation availability as soon as possible after receiving the form, but cannot confirm bookings definitively until the client’s deposit is received. Options may be held for certain accommodations, but they do not guarantee a reservation. In the case of unavailability in one or more accommodations, CORTO LTD will do its best to offer the client equivalent accommodation, including any potential additional costs.

PRICES

The price of the trip is subject to any changes in VAT applied by the Tanzanian government, which are outside of our control.

The price of park entrance fees is subject to potential changes in the rates applied by the park authorities up until the day of the trip.

ITINERARY CHANGES

CORTO LTD commits to providing the services described in the registration form, but reserves the right to modify your itinerary in cases of force majeure or adverse weather conditions. In such cases, and for safety reasons, we will make every effort to find accommodations of the same standard as those initially chosen, depending on availability.

CONFIRMATION AND PAYMENT TERMS

A deposit of 50% of the trip cost is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your departure to Tanzania.

Payments can be made by:
Bank transfer to our account in USD in Arusha: Bank fees are the client’s responsibility; otherwise, they may be charged by CORTO LTD. Average transfer time is 8 days. A copy of the transfer order must be sent to us for reconciliation with our bank statements.
Credit card via our account in USD in Arusha, with an additional 3% bank fee on the amount paid by credit card. The transaction is processed via the link sent by email, which directs you to the NBC bank’s payment system. By checking the "I HAVE READ AND AGREE TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS" box, you agree to the payment terms outlined here.

To avoid any misunderstandings, please note that we will not be able to carry out your trip if payment is not made in full by the day of your arrival.

CANCELLATION BY THE CLIENT

If you need to cancel your trip for any reason, the amounts paid will be refunded, minus the fees according to the following scale:

- More than 90 days before departure: 150 USD per person, plus any actual hotel costs incurred.

- From 90 to 46 days before departure: 20% of the total service cost, with a minimum of 200 USD per person, plus any actual costs incurred for flights and hotels.

- From 45 to 31 days before departure: 25% of the total service cost, plus any actual costs incurred for flights and hotels.

- From 30 to 21 days before departure: 40% of the total service cost, plus any actual costs incurred for domestic flights and hotels.

- From 20 to 15 days before departure: 50% of the total service cost, plus any actual costs incurred for domestic flights and hotels.

- From 14 to 7 days before departure: 75% of the total service cost, plus any actual costs incurred for domestic flights and hotels.

- Less than 7 days before departure or no-show: 100% of the total service cost.

In all cases, please note that insurance premiums, domestic flight issuance fees, and modification fees remain non-refundable to CORTO LTD. Fees for visa acquisition, consular fees, vaccinations, and other personal expenses will not be reimbursed.

Unused services on site (transfers, excursions, accommodations, flights, etc.) will not be refunded. Voluntary changes made on-site are subject to the terms and conditions of local providers and suppliers; any additional or replacement services resulting in extra charges must be paid directly to the local providers and will not engage CORTO LTD's liability. No refund will be provided for unused portions of services.

TOURS AND STAYS

For tours and stays, prices are calculated based on the number of nights, not days. The client may lose a few hours of stay upon arrival and/or departure due to flight schedules or international hotel check-in policies. Extra meals are the client’s responsibility. All prices are per person and are quoted in USD.

Visa fees, insurance, optional excursions, departure or security taxes, and personal expenses are not included unless stated otherwise. Our offers are valid for one month.

VISAS

A visa is required to enter Tanzania. You are responsible for obtaining your visa. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after your return from Tanzania.
